Accuracy over speed in Dana’s murder case

ASSISTANT Commissioner of Police (Crime) Glen Hackett said yesterday the police would not be sacrificing accuracy for speed with regards to the murder of Senior Counsel Dana Seetahal.

Speaking at yesterday’s weekly police press conference at their Port of Spain headquarters, Hackett said the issue was in no way “run of the mill” and “is a sensitive but challenging investigation and due to the nature of this issue I am not about to say where we are going with it.”

He confirmed the police have been in contact with foreign agencies and the investigation was moving along at a steady pace.
