...Amidst crime spike PSC to meet with ag CoP today

The Police Service Commission (PSC) meets with acting Commissioner of Police Stephen Williams today to discuss the recent spike in murders.
The meeting will also discuss the strategies he intends to implement in the fight against this type of crime and criminality, a release from the PSC said yesterday.
The meeting begins at 11.30 a.m. and will be held at the PSC offices, corner Churchill-Roosevelt Highway and Pasea Main Road, Tunapuna.
“The Commission views very seriously matters of public safety and the duty of those responsible for it,” the release said.
