Share Goodness is holding yet another blood drive on August 11 at Hillview College in Tunapuna.
This is the organisation's fourth blood drive. The results of the previous ones are as follows:
1. At its first blood drive at Presentation College, Chaguanas, 40 pints of blood were donated with 34 of those donors being first-time donors.
2. At the second blood drive at Presentation College, San Fernando, 52 pints were donated, with 30 of the donors being first-time donors as well as few repeat donors from the first blood drive.
3. The third blood drive was held at St Finbar's Church in Diego Martin, where 36 pints were donated, 13 of the donors being first-time donors.
Share Goodness, a group of young people doing volunteer work, is based on one general, simple idea—Time, Talent and Things.
The organisation said, as of September last year, it was brought to its attention that Trinidad and Tobago was below the required 20,000 pints minimum in the Blood Bank and its goal was to make a contribution towards collection.
