Body of man found in Couva

THE body of a man with a gunshot wound to the head was found lying along the roadside in Couva yesterday.
Around 8.45 a.m. yesterday, a resident saw the body of a man in his 30s with a Rastafarian hairstyle lying motionless near an overgrown area at La Fortune Street in Couva.
The body bore a gunshot wound to the left side of the head.
Couva police officers were contacted and Cpl Maharaj of the Southern Homicide Division is continuing investigations. A positive identity is yet to be made.
