A 16-year-old boy died on Wednesday after being crushed under a pile of wood at a construction site in Caroni.
Adarian Willoughby, of Crown Trace, Enterprise, was working at the site when he climbed the lumber stock pile, causing the lumber to dislodge to roll on top of him.
By the time Willoughby's co-workers removed the material, he was already dead, police said.
Willoughby was working as a labourer with a construction company.
Inspector Gajadhar and Sergeant Gobin of the Caroni police station are investigating the case.
