COP launches 'Social Services' booklet

The Congress of the People (COP) yesterday launched its booklet Guide to The Conduct of Our Social Services, a project spearheaded by the party's deputy political leader Anna Maria Mora.

Mora said the booklet is the guide to the social services projects of the political party which are available to people free of charge.

The services include medical clinics, legal clinics, career guidance and training opportunities, as wells as psycho-social support and nutrition information.

"We are asking the Local Government councillors, the constituency chairmen, regional representatives and all our COP membership on the ground to work together to ensure that all of these services get to who they need to get to."

She said there is also a one parent (or single parent) family registry because they have been getting a lot of requests from single parents.

Mora said financial literacy, a skills bank registry, identification of needs of communities and practical support solutions and many other services will be provided as they attempt to reach citizens across the country.
