San Fernando detectives recovered five vehicles stolen over the last two months.

However, four more vehicles were stolen in San Fernando on Tuesday.

The suspects arrested were two men aged 25, both of Egypt Village, Point Fortin, and a 49-year-old man of Tarodale Gardens, Ste Madeleine.

An investigator said one of the suspects was arrested in 2009 also for car thefts and selling stolen vehicles.

Police said a breakthrough in the case came on Friday when they recovered two of the stolen cars. Three more were recovered yesterday.

All but one of vehicles have already been identified by their owners.

The operation was carried out by Sergeants Smith and Manwarren, Corporal Smith, and Constables Burke, Mohammed, Mendoza and Marash.
