ToolsCommittee warns about e-mailThe Planning Committee of the March for Jesus has said in a statement it utterly rejects and disassociates itself from an e-mail dated June 23. The statement said the e-mail makes it appear that it comes from the March for Jesus Planning Committee. The public is being asked to ignore this e-mail. In the statement, the Planning Committee said this clarification was being issued on its own behalf, on behalf of those organisations associated with the Planning Committee, and also on behalf of the Roman Catholic Church in Trinidad and Tobago. The statement said the Planning Committee wished to repeat that the purpose of the march, to be held on July 1, is to call the country to unite in prayer to God, so that the scourges of crime, death and immorality would be defeated. The March also celebrates the 50th anniversary of Trinidad and Tobago's Independence. |
