Cops need help to ID murdered man

POLICE are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the body of a man found in a drain in Freeport on Wednesday. The man was described as of Indian descent, 173 centimetres tall, with stocky build and short hair.

He was clad in a white jersey, blue three-quarter pants with a burgundy coloured underpants, and was bare feet.

He was discovered at the roadside of Four Roads Junction, Freeport.

Police said at around midday they were contacted and told a manís body was discovered in Freeport. Detectives said they suspect the man was murdered since he was found lying face down with one hand tied behind his back, and it appeared that that there were wounds at the back of his head.
