Cops working ‘night and day’ on case

THE POLICE maintained yesterday that they have been working day and night alongside the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) on the Dana Seetahal SC murder investigation.
This was stated by ASP Joanne Archie yesterday at the weekly police press conference at the Police Administration Building, Port of Spain.
Archie responded to questions from reporters both about the military presence in East Port of Spain and Laventille following the shooting death of Lance Corporal Kayode Thomas and the investigation into Seetahal’s murder.
With regard to Seetahal, Archie said, “Any murder in Trinidad and Tobago is a cause for concern for the Police Service and we give it the same attention because it’s a life lost.”
She continued, “With respect to Dana Seetahal, I can tell you that the Police Service is expending all its resources to ensure that the people who perpetrated that act will be brought to justice and I am hopeful and optimistic that those persons will be brought to justice.” —GG
