A POPULAR singer and radio announcer was questioned by police yesterday in connection with pornographic material on his computer.
The 42-year-old father of three was interviewed by police following a report he allegedly participated in a lewd conversation via Skype, an Inter- net service which allows users to communicate by video using a webcam.
The singer, who is also employed with a Government ministry, was interviewed by detectives of the San Fernando CID.
The Express was told several police officers went to his home after a woman reported to police that her daughter was involved in web contact with the man where pornographic images were shown.
Police went to the singer's home and interviewed him around 11.30 p.m. Monday.
He then accompanied police officers to the station where he remained until mid-morning yesterday. He left the station but was told investigations were still being carried out by police into the incident.
Assistant Superintendent Zamsheed Mohammed confirmed the incident.
