Couple in court for larceny of vehicles

 A couple appeared in the San Fernando Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with larceny of luxury vehicles.

Anil Ramnarine and his wife, Sasha Jahoor-Ramnarine, of Duncan Village, San Fernando, appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Mark Wellington, charged with stealing vehicles from Neal and Massy in San Fernando between June 5 and 17.

They were charged by Constable Stephen-James of the Criminal Investigation Department.

Ramnarine, 29, was allowed to remain on $200,000 bail he was granted at the police station.

 His wife, 33, is on $100,000 bail.

The matter was adjourned to July 7. Neal and Massy had reported a Volvo missing on June 5.

Investigating officers recovered the vehicle in Chaguanas, along with a Hyundai Tucson also belonging to the company.
