Couple shot in head and abdomen

POLICE are investigating the shooting of a husband and wife at Moruga.

At around 1.25 p.m. the 58-year-old man and his 52-year-old wife, both gardeners, of Rock River Village, were cleaning a hunter's camp inside Texaco Road, off Edward Trace, when they heard several loud explosions.

The man was shot in the abdomen, and his wife in the face.

Their vehicle, a Kia Sephia, was also damaged.

The couple was taken to the Princes Town District Health Facility, where they were treated and discharged.
