A Cunupia father is appealing for help in finding his 14-year-old daughter who went missing ten days ago.

Wazib Mohammed said he believed his daughter, Reanna Rona Mohammed, ran away from home. The family lives at Petersville Road, Chin Chin Road.

The teenager is a second form pupil of the Chaguanas Secondary School. Mohammed said he last saw his daughter on the night of December 21.

“She went to bed at around 9 p.m. and when I got up the next morning around 4.30 I did not see her,” said Mohammed.

“There was a crate under the burglarproof of her bedroom window. She might have squeezed through because she is very small,” he said.

He said nothing is missing from her bedroom. “All of her shoes, schoolbooks, school uniforms and other clothes are there,” said Mohammed.

The father said the incident is puzzling since she never ran away from home previously, nor did they have any arguments. He said calls to her cellphone are unanswered and go to voicemail.

Mohammed said he has searched for her at the homes of family and friends and no one has seen or heard from her. The father described her as 1.5 metres tall, weighing approximately 45 kilogrammes. She has long black hair, dark brown eyes and brown skin.

A report has been made to the Anti-Kidnapping Squad and Cunupia Police Station.

Anyone with information on Reanna Mohammed is asked to call her father at 314-6720 or 480 0169, or the Cunupia Police Station at 665 3080.
