Dead woman identified
A woman found on the morning of July 30 lying dead face down in a Maloney river was positively identified as Judith-Ann London.
According to earlier police reports, the woman of African descent was said to be in her 20s and was found by Community-based Environmental Protection and Enhancement Programme (CEPEP) workers around 6.20 that morning.
The woman, who was naked, was lying face down in a shallow ravine off Toucan Drive, Maloney Gardens, Arouca. The woman’s hands were bound and a plastic bag was wrapped around her face.
Police believe she was killed and her body dumped at that location.
Homicide Bureau officers who spoke to the woman’s relatives over the weekend said she was not immediately missed by them as she had the habit of leaving her home.
