Decomposed body of woman found at Manzanilla Beach
MANZANILLA fishermen yesterday discovered the partially decomposed body of a woman in a shallow grave along the Manzanilla Beach.
Police are asking if anyone knows her identity to come forward.
Police said the discovery was made around 7 a.m. when three fishermen noticed stray dogs tugging at what appeared to be a human hand.
The men ran the dogs off and found the body of a woman.
The woman was clad in a pair of blue jeans and a white blouse and after being examined by officers of the Sangre Grande CID as well as the Homicide Bureau the body was moved to the Sangre Grande Mortuary.
Police said the woman's state of decomposition was so advanced they were unable to speculate how she was killed or her age.
