Father of two dies in crash


A 33-year-old father of two was killed when his pick-up slammed into a parked vehicle on Sunday night.

Shabeez Mohammed, of Iere Village, Princes Town, was pronounced dead at the scene around 7 p.m.

Police said Mohammed was returning home after a night out with friends when he lost control of his vehicle.

The accident occurred near Mohammed’s home.

Mohammed, an air-condition technician, was described by relatives as a jovial, hard-working man.

Princes Town police are continuing investigations.
