Five shot at John John, Port of Spain

A 17-YEAR-OLD girl was among five people who were shot on Sunday afternoon while liming outside a housing development in John John, Port of Spain.
A second woman was also shot in the attack that left all five at hospital.
Officers said sometime around 4.30 p.m. Sherwin Beckles, 35, Alicia Phillip, 34, William Alexander, 19, Stephen Brown, 29, and Tabitha Phillip, were standing close to the Hillview Plannings when a car pulled up. Four men came out of the vehicle and approached the group before opening fire. They then went back into the car and sped off, police said.
Beckles, Alexander, Brown and Alicia Phillip all live at John John while Tabitha Phillip lives at Sea Lots in Port of Spain.
Officers of the Besson Street Police Station went to the scene and took all five victims to the Port of Spain hospital.
