Form 5 pupil reports rape by relative

A teenage girl is expected to undergo a medical examination on today, following reports of sexual abuse by a male relative.

The 16-year-old girl, accompanied by her mother, went to the Chaguanas Police Station on Thursday and reported that she was assaulted by a close male relative. The Fifth Form pupil reported the relative forced her to have sexual intercourse on several occasions between January and July.

The attacks happened at her parents' home and at the suspect's house.
