Gasparillo man stabbed

A 33-year-old Gasparillo was critically injured in a stabbing incident on Friday night.

Jason Joseph, of Harmony Hall, was liming with friends at a nearby house, when he was involved in an altercation with another man.
The incident occurred around 10 p.m.

Police said a 20-year-old man who was involved in an argument with Joseph picked up a knife and stabbed him several times.

Joseph was taken to San Fernando General Hospital, where he was being treated last evening.

The suspect was detained by police.

Investigators are awaiting a medical report to determine what charge(s) would be laid against him.

Southern Division police are continuing investigations.
