A MOTHER of six is seeking the public’s assistance to find her 13-year-old daughter, who disappeared on her birthday.
Jenelle Griffith, a form two pupil of Marabella South Secondary School, left her Iere Village, Princes Town home on Tuesday around 10.45 a.m. and never returned.
Her mother, Nicole Cyrus, 39, said her daughter left for San Fernando to purchase stationery at a High Street book store for the start of the new school term.
Cyrus said her co-worker last saw the teenager at Carlton Centre. The girl was wearing a pair of three-quarter blue jeans, grey and blue striped top, and a pair of brown and black slippers.
Cyrus said her friend described Griffith’s behaviour as “unbalanced and secretive”.
She said she was not aware that her daughter had a Facebook profile and that someone who knows Griffith on Facebook was helping them with information.
Cyrus said Griffith told her younger sibling before she left home that she was planning to celebrate her birthday with some friends at Chaguanas.
Cyrus is asking if anyone has information on her daughter they can contact 327-3762 or 208-9129 or San Fernando Police Station.
