The schoolgirl who was the romantic interest of both Renaldo Dixon and the boy who allegedly stabbed him to death reported yesterday that she was being threatened.
The girl told school officials that she was warned to stay away from classes, because she was responsible for Dixon’s death.
The threats were allegedly made by friends of the victim and suspect, the Express was told.
A school official told the Express “the girl said she was being threatened by the boys’ friends. The pupils telling her that they will beat her because she responsible for Renaldo’s death and the arrest of the other boy. She is scared that they will attack her. She was crying”.
The school has also been informed of a Facebook profile created in memory of Dixon, on which photographs of Dixon, the girl, and the 16-year-old suspect have been posted, and where derogatory statements have been made.
Dixon’s mother, Camille Taitt, said she was planning a memorable service for her second-born. The mother of four described her son as a loving, quiet boy.
