A 13-YEAR-old schoolgirl was abducted and gang-raped on Tuesday.

Police said the secondary school pupil got into a purple vehicle at Knox Street, San Fernando at around 1.10 p.m, and asked to be taken to Library Corner.

The schoolgirl said the driver proceeded to Harris Promenade, where he picked up two other men.

She told police one of the men placed a bag over her head, pulled a string around her neck, and ordered her to stay still.

She said one of the men stuck an object to the back of her neck and threatened to kill her.

The girl reported that she was taken to a house in an unknown location and raped, while the bag was still over her head.

She said she was later dropped off at South Oropouche.

In another attack, a San Fernando man and his companion were abducted and robbed on Tuesday.

Police said at around 10.30 p.m, Brent Nagee, 40, and Aladini Ramkissoon, both of Leotaud Street, were snatched as they entered their home.

Police were told that Nagee had pulled up to the gate to park his white Mazda 3 sedan, when he was confronted by two men, one with a gun.

The thieves took control of the vehicle and ordered the couple into the back seat.

The thieves drove to Warren Road, Cunupia, where they threw the couple out of the car and drove off.
