MAYBE you can help give this story a happy ending.
A wedding ring was retrieved from a street in San Fernando this week by a good Samaritan who wants to return it to the rightful owner. A young woman who found it came to the Express South Bureau seeking help in finding the owner.
The diamond wedding ring appears to be part of a larger set, and must be of great value, said the good Samaritan, who wished to remain anonymous.
“It must be something special,” she said.
The woman said, “I was just walking along the street when it caught my eye. I automatically picked it up and I knew the owner had to be found.
“My father later told me that when you do good, good things will follow you later in life.”
So if you have recently lost a wedding ring, or know someone who has, contact the Express office:
• telephone: 652-2900, extension 2722;
• or e-mail: email@example.com.
The rightful owner will be able to say when and in what part of the city the ring was lost, and give other details.
