JAMAICAN murder accused Alton "Frosty" Wilson, alias Nigel "Froms" Richards, of Kingston, Jamaica was arrested by officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force on Thursday.

The 33-year-old man is wanted by Jamaican law enforcement for a murder in Jamaica in January 2009. Wilson has been handed over to immigration officers and Interpol.

He is expected to be returned to Jamaica shortly.

A team of officers from the North Eastern Division Task Force led by Sgt Cornelius Samuel and Cpl Daryll La Pierre went to an apartment building along Boyie Trace off Madras Road in Cunupia, where they arrested the man along with two other Jamaican nationals—both women—who were in the country illegally.

Wilson is reported to have been evading capture since 2009. He was charged locally in mid-2009 for being in possession of a fraudulent passport and served six months in prison here.

The detention order for the murder in Jamaica was not issued until some time after the expiration of his sentence and he eluded capture from that time.
