Jack celebrates 70th birthday

By Gyasi Gonzales

NATIONAL Security Minister Jack Warner remained busy at his Chaguanas West constituency office yesterday even as he celebrated his 70th birthday.

CNC News 3 last night reported that Warner said he wanted to assure the public that they will have a safe Carnival this year.

Warner said he recently held talks with several national security stakeholders and assured, "This Carnival will be a crime- free Carnival because safety is our number one priority."

He added, "My only birthday wish this year is that the entire country becomes a safer one this year and that crime goes to an all-time low and I am confident that it will be achieved."
