ToolsJamadar to act as Chief JusticeCOURT of Appeal Judge Justice Peter Jamadar has been appointed by President George Maxwell Richards to perform the duties of the Office of Chief Justice in the absence of Chief Justice Ivor Archie. The appointment, made yesterday, was announced in a statement to the media from the Court Protocol and Information Unit of the Judiciary of Trinidad and Tobago. Archie travelled to Kingston, Jamaica, yesterday morning to attend the 44th meeting of the Council of Legal Education. He returns on Sunday. |
