Kamla: Be vigilant with your children

By Sue-Ann Wayow sue-ann.wayow@trinidadexpress.com

PRIME MINISTER Kamla Persad-Bissessar is advising parents to be extra vigilant when it comes to taking care of their children.

She said they were the main ones to protect their children.

Persad-Bissessar was speaking to  reporters yesterday during her Christmas gift distribution at the Ato Boldon Stadium,  Couva.

Following the recent deaths of children at the hands of someone they knew including six-year-old Keyana  Cumberbatch in Maloney, a Child Protection Task Force was set up.

Persad-Bissessar said a report was expected to be submitted  to the government  by the end of the year.
