Local firemen on training course in AtlantaTwelve firefighters are currently in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, undergoing training made possible under a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Atlanta Fire Department and the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Services and which was facilitated by the Port of Spain Atlanta Sister Cities Network for the transfer of technologies and training.
The fire officers will be trained in:
* High-rise Structural Training, Operations and Rescue * Tranche Rescue
* Special Operations, Tools and Equipment, and
* Hazardous Material Awareness and Operations
The fire officers selecetd for training include Acting Fire Sub Station Officer Premdath Mohan, Fire Sub Officer Robert Cooke, Kervin Dolly, Kervyn Burton, Kerry Alleyne, Earl Horne, Randall Paul, Christian Serrette, Reon Balotje, Matthew Rush, Lyle Spooner and Herbert Sutton. |
