Man critical after shooting

By Susan Mohammed

A FYZABAD man was shot yesterday by a lone gunman who stormed into his home.

Akeem Joseph, of John Jules Trace, was hit multiple times, police said.

According to a report, Joseph was at home at around 11.30 a.m. when he was approached by the armed man who fired several shots at him.

Joseph raised an alarm and his neighbours ran over to his house, as the gunman fled, police said.

Joseph is listed in critical condition at the intensive care unit of San Fernando General Hospital.
