Man killed by cops in Belmont

By Alexander Bruzual

A man was shot and killed by police in Belmont last night.

Investigators said they were patrolling the area when they began tracking the activities of two men acting suspiciously in a vehicle.

When the men were challenged, police said the men pulled guns and there was an exchange of gunfire. One man, identified only as Innis, was killed at the scene.

Police have now killed eight persons in alleged gunfights this year.
Two other suspected criminals were killed by their intended victims.
