Man killed in crash with truck carrying fuel
QUINTON Baker was killed in a car crash today at Tarouba, San Fernando. Baker's vehicle crashed into the cab of a truck carrying fuel, at around 10 a.m.
Police said Baker, 37 was driving a rented Nissan Almeera headed north along the San Fernando By Pass.
Police said when in the vicinity of Trinity Paints Limited, Baker overtook at least four cars and crashed head on into the tanker.
A party of police officers led by Inspector Peter DeBoulet visited the scene.
Baker's body was examined by the district medical officer and ordered removed to the mortuary of the San Fernando General Hospital. Baker was an offshore worker, living in Guayaguayare.
