A 40-year-old man became this country's latest road fatality when the car in which he was travelling crashed into a concrete guard rail last night.
Nowshad Keiroo, of Mohammed Street, St Augustine, was pronounced dead by paramedics around 9.30p.m.

The driver of the white Toyota Corolla car, 17-year-old Rohan Mohan, and back seat passenger, 16-year-old Gabriel Bharose, escaped with minor injuries.

Police said Mohan, of El Dorado, was driving east along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway when he lost control and slammed into the concrete bridge, near the Nestle compound. The three were returning home after dropping off a relative at Bamboo Village, Valsayn, police said.
Sergeant Williams, corporal Harry and constables Persad and De Gannes visited the scene.
