Man shot dead at home in Morvant

Killers broke into the home of Terrence Carter in Morvant this morning and shot him dead.

Police were told that at around 8.15a.m. two men entered the house at Chaconia Avenue, off Coconut Drive. Carter, 27, was shot multiple times.

As the killers fled the scene, police were notified and a party of officers including Sgt Samuel, Sgt James, Cpl Bharath, Cpl Vidale, PC Ball and PC Thompson visited the scene. Carter was taken to the Port of Spain
General Hospital but died on arrival. Trinidad and Tobago has recorded 123 homicides this year so far.
