A man who complained about loud music near his home in Fyzabad on Carnival Monday, was stabbed to death. The victim has been identified as Kwasi Lewis, 24, of New Jack Avenue, Fyzabad.
Police said that on Monday afternoon, Lewis went to a home in the area and complained to a group of persons about the loud music being played. Lewis returned to his home, got into his parked car and went to sleep, the Express was told.
Police said at around 3.35 p.m. a man attacked Lewis with a knife, and stabbed him several times. As the killer ran away from the scene, Lewis got out of his vehicle and collapsed on the road.
A witness took Lewis to the Siparia Health Facility for treatment, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Police said the suspect is being sought. Sgt Taitt is continuing investigations.
