ToolsMan dies days after shot in cityA LAVENTILLE man, who was shot at Observatory Street, east Port of Spain on Monday afternoon, succumbed to his injuries yesterday at Port of Spain General Hospital. Police said that around 2 p.m. on Monday, the victim, 27-year-old Clevon Purmell, of Picton Road, Laventille, was standing at Observatory Street where he was approached by a man who shot him several times about the body. Purmell was taken to hospital where he was treated and placed on a ward in critical condition. He died yesterday afternoon. Homicide Bureau officers are continuing investigations. —GG |
