AN 18-YEAR-old Guayamare construction worker was stabbed to death near his home during an argument over money.

David Aaron, of Guayamare Main Road, died in a house where the argument occurred.

Two people are assisting police with their enquiries—a 25-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman who were tenants at the house.

Police said that around 1.30 a.m. Aaron came home drunk and he went over to the suspects' house.

Police said he attacked the man with a knife, and the two began to fight.

During the scuffle, the suspect was cut on his chest.

Police were told the suspect took away the knife from Aaron and dealt him a stab to the chest.

Aaron was taken to the Chaguanas Health Centre where he was pronounced dead.

Aaron's father, Aaron Bissoon, said he was told his son went to the house to speak with the two suspects about money.

The Sunday Express was told that the suspects wanted to borrow money from Aaron.

Six years ago, Bissoon, his son David and wife Shaliza Bissoon, were hit by a delivery truck as they were about to enter a maxi-taxi on the southbound lane of the Uriah Butler Highway.

Shaliza Bissoon, 32, died at the scene of the collision.

Bissoon said he and his son received compensation earlier this year for the collision.

The teenager's father said: "That man is a mad man. He is an alcoholic. He lost his job two weeks ago."

Aaron's aunt, Anna Bissoon, described the teenager as a "loving and helpful boy".
