Man wants $$ after falling in fast food outlet

By Nikita Braxton-Benjamin

A man who allegedly fell and hurt his back while standing in line at a fast food outlet has written a legal letter to the business demanding compensation.

Steve Ramoudit, 35, wants $20,000 for the pain, injuries and humiliation he suffered the evening of July 24, when he said he fell.

Ramoudit's attorney Stephen Boodram has written to the owner of the business explaining that his client was standing in line at the Penal outlet waiting to purchase his food.

"When he turned around to leave the line from the cashier to get extra cash, because he was short of money, he slipped on the wet floor and fell flat on his back."

Boodram claimed that the company is liable for negligence since it failed to place a caution sign indicating the floor was wet and failed to warn Ramoudit, who filed a report at the Penal Police Station.
