Matelot roads in a mess

The roads in Matelot are so bad that the village should be sold to foreign bidders. This view has been expressed by Albert Cummings, a local fisherman.

Cummings has claimed some of the villagers have already begun to seek bidders via the Internet.

The bad roads result in expensive vehicle repairs and this has led to high taxi fares. It has also resulted in villagers having to limit how often they use their cars or take taxis to shop for groceries.

A number of improvements are urgently needed in the village and residents are calling on MP Rupert Griffith to address some of these needs. These photos show some of the bad roads in Matelot.
