Minister confirms Carnival 2013 dates

Carnival 2013 will be held on February 11 and 12.

Communications Minister Jamal Mohammed made the announcement yesterday at the post-Cabinet news conference at the Office of the Prime Minister, St Clair.

"In accordance with the provisions of Section Five of the Public Holidays and Festivals Act, Chapter 19:05, Cabinet today agreed that Carnival 2013 will be on Monday the 11th of February and Tuesday the 12th of February, 2013," said Mohammed.
