Mom killed by mentally challenged man

A 68-YEAR-old Rousillac mother of four was yesterday killed by a mentally challenged relative with a piece of wood.

Myrna Sahibram was found dead on a couch in her living room.

The body was discovered around 2.45 p.m. by her daughter, Lystra Lall.

The suspect, a 73-year-old relative, was detained by police at the scene.

Police said the suspect was taking prescribed medication for a mental condition. An autopsy is expected to be performed at the Forensic Science Centre, St James today.

The latest murder has taken toll to 215, according to an Express tally.
