Moonilal to act as Prime Minister
...while Persad-Bissessar is in Panama until Friday
The Office of the Prime Minister today advised that Housing and Urban Development Minister Dr Roodal Moonilal will act as Prime Minister during the absence of Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar who leaves for Panama today.
Persad-Bissessar will attend the Americas Competitiveness Forum (ACF) VII, and returns on Friday.
Last week, Legal Affairs inister Prakash Ramadhar acted as Prime Minister in the absence of Persad-Bissessar who attended meetings at the United Nations in New York.
The Office of the Prime Minister also advised that Chief Executive Officer of the BP Group, Bob Dudley, will pay a courtesy call on Persad-Bissessar, at 4.30 p.m. today, at the Diplomatic Lounge, Piarco International Airport.
The courtesy call takes place prior to her departure to Panama. Also in attendance will be Norman Christie, President, bpTT.
