Musical explosion shifts to Jean Pierre Complex

By Gary Cardinez

The Caribbean Musical Explosion carded for this weekend at which 50 musical legends will be honoured has been shifted to a new venue.

Originally carded for the Hasely Crawford Stadium, the massive Caribbean Party will now be staged at the Jean Pierre Complex, tomorrow evening.

According to an official from promoters International Caribbean Business Fair Ltd, "The weather has been playing tricks on us lately and it is in the interest of the patrons that we have decided to make the change of venue.

"The complex is easier to control in times of bad weather and the patrons will still enjoy the show. The production will begin at seven o'clock with the pre-show performances and the Red Carpet session.

"The awards will begin at eight o'clock punctuated by entertainment until the last of the big 50 is honoured. Then there will be more performances and party."
