New entrance fee for the zoo

The Zoological Society of Trinidad and Tobago has announced that from this month new entrance fees to the Emperor Valley Zoo will apply.

They are:

12 years and under - $15 VAT inclusive

13 years and over - $30 VAT inclusive

Tickets to enter the zoo were previously $10 and $20 respectively.

Special offers are available for school and group tours.

“With several new acquisitions that took place recently, patrons to the zoo have the opportunity to see exciting animals such as the giraffes, warthogs, Bengal tigers and lions. Also, the visitors’ experience is enriched with animal encounters and educational talks scheduled throughout the day,” the Society said in a statement Friday.
