No water today in parts of Northeast

 Areas in Northeast Trinidad will today be without a water supply between the hours of 8 a.m and 8 p.m., the Water and Sewerage Authority said yesterday.

WASA’s head of corporate communications, Ellen Lewis, advised customers in parts of northeast Trinidad served by the Hollis Reservoir there will be a disruption in their water supply today.

“The disruption in supply has become necessary in order to facilitate two interconnections along Quare Road, Valencia,” WASA said.

Areas affected are:

• KP Lands

• La Platta

• Silica Sands

• Cocorite Road from Broadway to Henri Road

• O’Meara Road from Priority Bus Route to Nu Tones Boulevard

• Town of Arima from Priority Bus Route to Broadway

• Arima Old Road from King Street to Cleaver Road inclusive of Lynton Gardens and Cleaver Heights

• Malabar Phase II

• Samaroo Village

• Darwill Gardens

• Mausica Road

• Pine Haven Development

• La Resource North

• Bon Air Gardens

• Bon Air West

• Lopinot Road

• Arouca
