A Point Fortin woman was killed and her husband critically injured when their vehicle collided with two other cars early yesterday morning.

Deborah Supersad, 38, was the front seat passenger in her husband's red Mazda when the collision occurred at around 6.30 a.m.

Her husband Richard Supersad was driving the car along South Central Road, Point Fortin, when he crashed into two vehicles.

Police said Deborah Supersad was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.

Her husband was taken to Point Fortin District Hospital and transferred to San Fernando General Hospital.

The drivers of the other vehicles suffered minor injuries, police said. The Supersads lived at Lawrence Ville, Cap-de-Ville. The two worked at BSI Services Trinidad Ltd in La Brea.

Deborah Supersad was employed as the company's human resources manager, while her husband is the stores manager.

Police said the two were on their way to work when the crash occurred. They had no children.

An employee at BSI Services said: "We could not continue work when we got the news this morning. We closed around midday and everyone went to support the relatives."
