The 14-year-old daughter of a police officer is at hospital after she consumed a poisonous liquid on Sunday at her Penal home.

The teenager was discovered at around 4 p.m. at her home at Tennant Trace, Pluck Road, San Francique, by relatives.

She was taken to Siparia Health Facility and later transferred to San Fernando General Hospital for further treatment and observation.
