A PREYSAL family was under siege by armed thieves who stole thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, cellphones, appliances, and their car on Tuesday.
Police said the incident occurred at Nanan Trace, Preysal, at around 7.30 p.m.
The family of three was at home when three men--two with knives and one with a firearm--stormed the house and announced a hold-up.
Police said the hands and feet of the victims were tied and they were pushed into a room, while the thieves grabbed their possessions.
The thieves made off with the loot in the family’s Nissan Tiida car. An investigator said arrests were imminent in the case.
WPC Atkinson is continuing investigations.
