Probe into second school stabbing

DETECTIVES are currently investigating a second stabbing incident to take place in one of the nation’s schools in three days.
The latest incident involves two 14-year-old male Form Four pupils of Russel Latapy Secondary School in Morvant.
According to police reports, the two pupils got into an altercation around 12.15 p.m. yesterday.
During the incident one of the pupils pulled out a knife and stabbed the other in the back.
The injured pupil was rushed to Morvant Health Centre, where he was treated and discharged.
A report was made to Morvant Police Station.
Investigators visited the school and were able to retrieve the knife allegedly used in the attack.
The suspect was not at school when the officers arrived.
An arrest is expected to be made soon.
This stabbing comes days after an incident which left two pupils of Presentation College in San Fernando hospitalised.
On Monday, a 14-year-old pupil stabbed his 15-year-old classmate.
Following the stabbing the 14-year-old tried to slit his own wrists.
The two injured pupils in that incident were also in Form Four.
