Member of Parliament for Caroni Central Dr Glenn Ramadharsingh has identified himself as the Government Minister to be investigation by the Integrity Commission regarding allegations of corruption made by interim leader of the Independent Liberal Party Jack Warner.
Ramadharsingh issued a press statement today, stating that he "remains open to any investigation which may be conducted by the Integrity Commission, into allegations made on the political platform during the recent Chaguanas West By-Election, alleging that he is the owner of several properties".
According to the statement "Minister Ramadharsingh maintains that the allegations are baseless and unfounded, but will cooperate with any investigation by the Integrity Commission. Minister Ramadharsingh maintains that throughout his political life, he has conducted himself in such a manner which can withstand the highest level of scrutiny and integrity in public life. The Caroni Central MP says he will continue to discharge his duties both as a Member of Parliament and as a Government Minister Diligently, impartially, and equitably, always upholding the best standards of good governance".
